The people who do program at camp put a ton of preparation, creativity and experience into planning a great week.
I have an idea… why don’t we list in the comment section of this post some of the best themes, skits, games, etc. we saw at camp. My guess is they could be pretty useful for the upcoming school year and possibly for those planning camps in the future.
Here is an example:
While I was at Woodleaf, they had a Diva, a Rocked Out Scottish guy and a World of Warcraft Nerd as the main program characters, it worked great!
Honestly, it is hard to think of all the details because it was over a month ago, so put down your ideas before you forget them!

i WOULD LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT THESE. wE DONT HAVE A LOT OF ‘PROGRAM PEOPLE” IN OUR AREA AND THAT WOULD BE A GREAT RESOURSE FOR ME
Alan, I totally agree! YLHelp should definitely put together a character list or something. We totally lack in that area, too.
This one time at Woodleaf maybe 6 years ago there was a program guy who had too small of a shirt on, and emphasized words with the movement of his belly while at the same time quoting words with the use of his hands ” ” It worked and was hilarious! Sound familiar? Maybe someone on here can post a little more about it 😉
I have “no” idea what you are talking about, ahem ahem… 😉 I’m not what most people call a “smart man”, I don’t regularly “brush my teeth”, etc.
Rapper: j tweezie “my name is j tweezie rappin’s my game, i got a fist full of twizzles and I’m bout to make it rain” (throws twizzlers into the crowd)
Vs.
Country guy: Jeremiah juhjinklestein “I’m Jeremiah juhjinklestein and I love to sing!”
how do i find the skit that starts off with the girl holding a twig and a peach and it is symbolized to be her heart?
Rebecca, are you thinking of the “Broken Heart” drama/play?
