As I said earlier… My theme for all of the talks was to “Live Worthy – By Following Jesus – Through the Power of Jesus”. In each talk I used an analogy of “superheros” to add continuity and curiosity. I will post my unfiltered talk notes, so they may be a bit cryptic. They are literally typed into a “text box” the same size as my Bible so I can cut them out and clip them on the front of my Bible when I speak. So I have to keep them brief and a bit cryptic at times. You will typically see an intro story, a scripture story, and a key phrase I say verbatim at the end of the talk right before I pray. I also will include the cabin time questions. These could turn into campaigner questions if you wanted to use them that way.

Talk 4: Follow Jesus, He is Powerful… To Fill You (Mt. 26:69-75, Acts 2:1-41)

Questions:

1. What did you think about during your silent time?

2. What would life be like without electricity? Without electronics?

3. Who asked Peter if he knew Jesus?

4. Why do you think Peter denied Jesus?

5. Why do you think Peter “wept bitterly”?

6. What do you think it means when the Bible says the Holy Spirit “filled” them?

7. How would you describe the Holy Spirit?

8. What difference did the Holy Spirit make in Peter’s life?

9. Is there a difference between having God on the all around you compared to inside of you? Why?

10. Simply put, this is all about a personal relationship with God actually living within you. What do you think about that?

11. How would this help you follow Jesus through His power?
