EJ,

I'd be interested to see what other say but I think that YL "Club" is only a good tool if you have at least 20 people. If you have less then I would plan events until you have 30-40 for your first club.

We have been doing that so far this year to build up to club. We played volleyball, went bowling, did an outdoor movie, going to Taco Bell for $3 all you can eat tacos (we just pay the difference for them), things like that. A rule of thumb is that you will have about 50% of what your first build-up club is... so if you work for weeks to have a big club and 50 come, then expect about 25 to come on a regular basis. So I wouldn't do club when you expect 15 to come, because it might be 7 or 8 the following week.

Hi, new to YL and our community and school is as well, just wanting to know how do you go about creating momentum and excitement if you only have a few kids 6-10 at the most? I am worried that the games will bomb and kids especially if they are friends with the others who come might be shy to play or have fun. I've been around large groups but this is what has been happening as of late. Just curious your thoughts and maybe some others out here might have the same question.
