So we were thinking of doing a minute to win it themed club my question is
when you guys did it did you have the characters just for the " upfront games" or for the group mixer?

Just trying to think how we can do a version of this w/ multiple games for the mixer since they go so quickly but also sell one w/ our run on characters

I've noticed that a lot of these games need a twist added to them. They are fun on TV but it seems like the potential at a $1,000,000 and the intensity at which they play these games because of this is where most of the fun comes from. That's why I love the character and chocolate syrup idea. It adds some energy to something very simple. I guess the question I want to ask every time is, "What is something extraordinary that I can add to this game?"

Emma and Paul, great ideas! I think I will try these out next week in our club!

Emma I like how you tied a couple games together and also sold them with characters, that really adds a lot.

Paul I love the chocolate idea, definitely a YL twist. Hopefully no chocolate in the eyes!

My name is Paul and I'm a volunteer leader at Penn Trafford High School near Pittsburgh PA. We used the bobblehead last week and tissue race the week before and they both went really well! I think this upcoming week we are going to have the Minutes game be face the cookie, and I think If we dip the cookie in chocolate syrup before the game starts it might be even better. I think this would make for such great club pictures too!

We used a twist of a bunch of games from this show for our club last week. We used redneck-dance coach-characters who wanted to have a "bathroom tissue triathlon."

explain the sequence of the game and have club kids chosen (we had 3) strap on the belted tissue box before it all starts.

game 1 -- have club kids pull the tissues out of a box with only one hand // we set a table up

game 2 -- have a leader be prepared to put a ping pong ball in the empty tissue box attached to a belt on the club kids // the box should be low on the butts of the kiddos // we cut slits in sides and slid the belt through

game 3 -- use leaders to hold roles of bath tissue paper // have students turn in circles to wrap themselves in the toilet paper // the point is to wrap themselves // if the paper breaks then its game over for them
