Andy sent this note... Thanks Andy!

I live four blocks from our main Jr high, and five blocks from our main HS in a city of 75,000. I love being in the middle of it all. Our office is only a quarter mile away so we are pretty centralized. My wife and I have 2 kids 6 and 3 and my mother just move literall right next to our office. I think it is hugely important to let club kids see my family and how we serve Christ by loving each other. One of the biggest things that has helped us is a firm weekly sabboth on Wednesdays. Everybody seems to know that that day is off limits for my schedule and then I can have a day for my family. Blessings on your move!

I am a small town area director in south Louisiana, and someone gave us/Young Life a three bedroom house directly across the street from the middle school and high school to live in rent free. You literally stand on our front porch and stare at both schools. My office is in one of the bedrooms, and we knocked out a wall in two awkward den rooms on one end of the house to make a Club room and living room when kids are not over. It is incredible. Kids learn boundaries. If the porch light is on, they are welcome to come over. Email me to hear more about it. I wouldn't trade it for anything. I believe the house closest to the school is the most strategically important house in your town for YL.
